About Chef Sandra Mallut:
Chef Sandra Mallut grew up in the San Fernando Valley with no thoughts of being a chef. She came to a fork in the road on her life path, making a career change from the mortgage industry to the culinary profession.
After graduating from the California School of Culinary Arts in 2005 (a Le Cordon Bleu program), Chef Sandra started out working at a local bakery. She started as a cake decorator and was promoted to assistant bakery manager. It was during this time and after completing culinary school, she began to get involved with volunteering at food events, competitions and catering events.
